臺北市野鳥學會與行政院農業委員會林務局於103年合作出版『臺灣野鳥手繪圖鑑』，為首本國人自力完成的繪圖式鳥類圖鑑，完整呈現台灣鳥類最新資訊與個別鳥種介紹。藉由本書英文版的呈現，期能吸引國際觀鳥人士來到臺灣觀鳥，提升臺灣保育國際能見度及開拓生態觀光市場。
